A 500 MW solar plant will be built in Gelephu Mindfulness City in two phases, becoming the largest solar installation in Bhutan. The project aims to be completed within two years

The partnership also includes developing the 770 MW Chamkharchhu-1 hydroelectric project, the first joint venture between Bhutan and an Indian private company in the hydro sector

Reliance Enterprises will work on implementing smart distribution and metering systems throughout Bhutan, modernizing the country’s energy infrastructure
